The first session serves as a discovery and “get acquainted” session for both of us.
Meet and Greet: You will have the opportunity to meet me, review the Informed Consent ask any questions you have about therapy and the process.
Topics discussed: I will ask questions to get a sense of your background and what you are hoping to achieve through our sessions.
Honoring your journey: You will not be pressured to answer specific questions, if you do not feel comfortable. You always have the right to say “yes,” “no” and/or “I don’t know.” I endeavor to meet you where you are at.
Takeaways: We may or may not explore strategies during the first session, depending on time and your goals.

90 or 120-minute sessions might be suitable for you if:
Scheduling: Your availability is such that you can’t commit to regular weekly or biweekly sessions but want to prioritize therapy. Extended sessions allow you to meet less often or on a more flexible schedule that fits your schedule.
Space for Reflection: You prefer having more time between sessions to reflect and integrate changes.
Extended Time: You feel that standard 50-60 minute sessions go by too quickly and may leave you feeling anxious or rushed to cover everything. Or you want more time to dive deeper into issues.
Window of Tolerance: Perhaps, your nervous system needs additional time to settle into and transition out of sessions, and you want to give yourself that space while still having enough time between sessions to work on what we explore in sessions.
Fees are prorated: 90 minutes is $ 360 and 120 minutes is $480
